Terms of Use
Introduction
Subscrr is an independent subscription and personal finance app developed and operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms apply to the Subscrr app, subscrr.app and the Subscrr Journal.
By using Subscrr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The app license is also governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Questions and support: hi@subscrr.app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the applicable age of digital consent in your country, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Subscrr is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Subscrr Premium
Subscrr is free to use with the limits shown in the app. Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription available on a monthly or yearly basis. Premium may remove usage limits and unlock paid features such as AI Spend.
Current prices and available features are shown in the app before purchase.
Payment is charged through your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel through your App Store subscription settings. Apple handles billing and refunds.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
3. AI Features
AI Spend uses third-party AI services to analyze receipts and bank screenshots. AI output may be wrong, incomplete or missing. Totals, line items, currencies, merchants and dates may be misread.
AI results are estimates for convenience. You are responsible for checking results before saving or relying on them. Subscrr does not provide financial, tax, accounting or investment advice.
4. Receipt Scanning
Only submit documents you have the right to use. Do not submit another person’s personal data or sensitive information unless you have the right and permission to do so. Submitted images are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. User Content
You retain your rights in the information and content you enter into Subscrr. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to provide the requested service, such as transmitting an image to an AI provider when you choose AI Spend.
We do not use your subscription list or financial history to build advertising profiles.
6. Intellectual Property
The Subscrr app, its design, code, original content and branding belong to us or our licensors, excluding third-party trademarks and assets. Your license to use the app is the limited personal license provided under Apple’s EULA.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of Subscrr except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Third-Party Services & Trademarks
Subscrr relies on third-party services including Apple, Google, Cloudflare, PostHog, Meta and brand-data providers. Their services may be subject to their own terms and availability.
Subscrr may display names and logos of subscription services for identification. Those trademarks belong to their respective owners. Subscrr is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those services unless expressly stated.
8. Disclaimer
Subscrr is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Subscrr is a tracker, not a cancellation service. It does not cancel, pause or modify your real-world subscriptions. Reminders depend on device and notification settings and may not always be delivered.
Exchange rates, projections and financial calculations are estimates and may not reflect real-time values. We do not guarantee that the app or any feature will always be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or available.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or expected savings arising from your use of or inability to use Subscrr, including decisions based on AI results, reminders, calculations or currency estimates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or relating to Subscrr during any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Subscrr during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you paid nothing, US$50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Subscrr shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, except where applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws give a consumer the right to use another court or another law.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. Termination
You may stop using Subscrr at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend, discontinue or modify the app or individual features.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of Subscrr after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
